Engineer’s Day is celebrated to recognize and appreciate the valuable contributions of engineers in the development of society and the nation. The main objective of Engineer’s Day is to honor engineers for their role in planning, designing, and executing projects that improve the quality of life. It aims to inspire students and young professionals to adopt innovation, creativity, and scientific thinking in solving real-world problems. The day also commemorates the ideals and achievements of great engineers, especially Sir M. Visvesvaraya in India, and encourages engineers to follow professional ethics, social responsibility, and sustainable development for the progress of the country.
