Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology – Diploma Section is committed to provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all its students, employees and visitors. We have adopted NON- Smoking Policy in the Institute premises and in the institute Buses. Objective of this policy is to provide a smoke-free environment in all the Institute premises, in order to achieve a healthier and pleasant work place, safeguard non-smokers from the risks to health of passive smoking.

Implementation:

• Smoking is not allowed in any part of the campus premises including conference rooms, class rooms,offices, reception areas, restrooms, laboratories and workshops as well as all other enclosed areas.
• Smoking is prohibited at all times in shuttle buses.
• This policy applies to all students, employees, suppliers, contractors, visitors and people who are connected to institute by all means.
• Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action by the competent authority.
