MES was established in the year 1970. The society begin a Primary School in Chembur, Mumbai. Today Mahatma Education Society conducts Primary and Pre-Primary Schools, High School (English and Marathi), International Schools, Junior College (Night and Day), Teachers Training Institutes, Computer Training Institutions, Polytechnics, Colleges of Engineering, Management and a Commerce apart from the Pillai Polytechnic. These institutions are conducted from different campuses in Chembur, Panvel, New Panvel, Rasayani and Gorai.

MES has employed qualified and experienced teaching and non-teaching faculties in different disciplines. While maintaining a high level of efficiency, MES takes a humanitarian approach in employing sub staff and fulfills self imposed social responsibility by giving employment.

Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology – Diploma Section is a front runner in the field of technical education in and around Rasayani and Navi Mumbai. It has grown by leaps and bounds within a small period of time since its inception in the year 2009. Our result speaks in volumes.
